Motivated for the challenge van Druenen’s biggest goal is to build a successful Dutch Lions women’s program combining good soccer with positive results.

"After being assistant coach for one year in the strong [W-League] I learned a lot about the competition and the reality of this league," said van Druenen. "I am already scouting at all the local colleges, and working on bringing in some European international players, for the 2013 season.
