Dayton Dutch Lions FC is entering its third season in the W-League and is hoping to compete for a spot in the 2013 playoffs. To accomplish that goal, the club is looking for the best possible players. Women’s program director and head coach Sid van Druenen is excited about the tryout and the upcoming 2013 season.
“I believe it is going to be our best season so far; there is a lot of talent in the Dayton area and it’s up to us to bring all the pieces together for a successful season," he said. "The tryout is just another tool we have to scout the best possible players for the W-League and Super-20 teams. Last year, seven of the players on the W-League roster came from the tryouts and I am excited to see what the numbers and quality will be at this tryout.”
