Joanie Sieja
Force Football Club Academy

Force Football Academy solidified its spot at the W-20 Championship at IMG Academy after a convincing win against Alliance Academy Black on Monday. The shutout win in the final regular season game for FFA was its fifth clean sheet in an eight-game season. Force accumulated 18 points with a 6-2-0 record, and a goal differential of plus-26.

Sieja scored a goal and provided two assists in the victorious regular season finale.

“Joanie has been dominant for us all season at center midfield,” Force Assistant Coach Colby Cunningham said. “She has great vision and her technical ability on the ball is top class.”

Madison Bower
Harrisburg City Islanders/LDC

Harrisburg/LDC finished off its season with a comfortable 6-1 victory against Keystone Athletic SC on Saturday.

Bower had a strong game overall in the win, positioned as a center forward in Harrisburg’s 3-5-2 formation. Bower, a 2014 La Salle University recruit, held the ball well and linked effectively with her strike partner.

“Madi was an important player for us today and helped us create a number of scoring chances,” Harrisburg Head Coach Cindy McHugh said.
