DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Dutch Lions FC (3-6-0) play the Gulf Coast Texans (4-1-2) on Friday afternoon at DOC Stadium at 4 p.m. in their final game of the W-League season. The Lady Lions have been eliminated from playoff contention, but Friday's game is still an important one as the team wants to end the season on a high note in front of its fans.

The Texans, meanwhile, enter the contest needing all three points as they battle for the Southeastern Conference Championship. Gulf Coast would overtake the Charlotte Lady Eagles for second place in the conference with a victory on Friday, and will be hoping to emulate their 5-0 victory against the Dutch Lions in their first meeting this season.

Florence Dadson and Maria Jose-Rojas each had a pair of goals in that contest, and Dadson leads the Texans with seven goals this season. Dayton has been led by Shan Jones, who has three goals. Lady Lions captain Alex Warren said the side is excited to close out the season in front of its home fans.

“We are really excited to finally be back home after a long month on the road," Warren said. "To top it off it is our last game of the season, so I hope to see everyone there for what should be a fun filled fast paced game.”

Friday afternoon's game is set to be streamed live on YouTube, while tickets for the game start at just $4.
