A Top-10 clash on the west coast highlights the second weekend of action in the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer schedule as No. 1 UCLA hosts No. 9 North Carolina, one of a number of games this weekend set to feature top W-League players on national television.

No. 1 UCLA vs. No. 9 North Carolina, Friday, 10 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network
UCLA got off to a perfect start to the defense of its championship with a pair of victories during the opening weekend of the season. Former LA Blues midfielder Sam Mewis had two goals and an assist in the Bruins’ victories against Maryland and UC Irvine, while fellow Blues standout Sarah Killion had an assist in each game. They face a North Carolina side that fell against Stanford in overtime to open the season before rebounding with a victory against Ohio State, and will be looking for good performances for defender Satara Murray of the Washington Spirit Reserves and fellow Blues player Paige Neilsen, who had three goals and two assists in LA’s undefeated season this summer.

Louisville vs. Mississippi, Friday, 5:30 p.m. ET, ESPN3
The opening game at Louisville’s beautiful new stadium sees two teams on the fringe of the Top 25 looking to boost their non-conference records. The Cardinals took a win and a loss in their opening two games of the season as W-20 forward Isabella Habuda of the Premier Soccer Group led her side with both goals in a 2-1 victory against Wright State, and will be a player to watch as Louisville looks to christen its new home with a victory against Ole Miss (1-0-1).

Kansas vs. No. 24 Wake Forest, Sunday, 2 p.m. ET, ESPN3
The Demon Deacons visit the Jayhawks coming off a victory in their opening game of the season, as Caroline Wooten of the W-20’s Atlanta Metros scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against Wright State. She is joined in the Wake lineup by Washington Spirit Reserves midfielder Maddie Huster, who made nine appearances for the Spirit this summer ahead of her freshman season, and Lake Norman W-20 player Taylor Waters. The Jayhawks, meanwhile, feature former Fredericksburg Impact player Ashley Williams, who was one of the goal-scorers as Kansas took victories against Wyoming and SMU to open the season.

Washington State vs. Montana, Sunday, 3 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network
The Cougars will try to maintain their undefeated start to the season as they host Montana on Sunday afternoon after earning a draw with ranked BYU to go 1-0-1 during the opening weekend. Former Vancouver Whitecaps Women keeper Gurveen Clair had a strong weekend in goal as she recorded a pair of shutouts and 13 saves, and Washington State will hope for more of the same as the Grizzlies visit after splitting a pair of games against Air Force and Wyoming to open the season.
